MP Vigen Khachatryan of the ruling “Civil Contract” Faction of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia has died of a heart attack at the age of 72. He was hospitalized in severe condition, but his life could not be saved. Khachatryan was born on July 7, 1951 in Ijevan city. From 1990 to 1995, he was an MP of the Supreme Council (parliament) of Armenia. Between 1995 and 1999, Khachatryan was an MP of the NA.
